Plug-in support for any industry xml standard

The system can be configured to receive service advertisements or queries based on any xml standard, thanks to its extensible java implementation.  A single engine can support multiple xml standards, invoking different xml parsers depending on the type of advertisement or query being submitted, while new parsers can be added "on the fly".

Runs in any application server environment

The engine has been implemented as a web services server, and can be deployed in any J2EE application server environment, such as Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere and WebLogic.

Embedded version for tight integration

The engine can also be embedded inside existing java applications using highly efficient direct method calls as an alternative to using the web services interfaces.

Can be distributed across multiple enterprises

Multiple matching system engines can be linked together, even across organisational boundaries, to form a distributed matching environment composed of a network of connected engines communicating with each other via their web services interfaces.

Interfaces dynamically with existing data sources

External data sources can be dynamically linked from the engine via simple java plug-ins at various stages of the matching process - immediately prior to matching, during matching (triggered by individual advertisements), and post-matching.
