Out-Plugins

An Out-Plugin is a java plugin that can filter or modify the offers resulting from the matching process prior to their return to the client.  Different, and if required, multiple plugins can be provided to handle offers of different advertisement types.

As an example of their use, a matching engine may be used to present alternative service offerings to satisfy a customer requirement.  It might be preferred to limit the range of choices presented to the customer in order to avoid confusion.  An Out-Plugin can limit the number of offers that are returned to the customer, selecting for example the three highest scoring offers, and filtering out the remainder.
