Result XML or html

A string representation of the results of applying the query to the matching process is returned to the client application.  The flexibility afforded by the Result Writer allows the Engine to support multiple xml standards.  Indeed, the output is not limited to xml, but could be html or any other string representation that is suitable for representing a set of offers resulting from the matching process.

Transmission of the result string can be secured via SSL with either basic or mutual authentication.
